Charlie Kirby, president/CEO of Congaree State Bank, announced the promotion of two bank employees. Jeff Hendrix has been promoted to vice president, commercial loan officer. Hendrix has more than 10 years of banking experience, and his responsibilities will consist of new development of commercial business and management of a commercial loan portfolio.

Pam Poole has been promoted to assistant vice president, branch manager of the West Columbia branch, located at 2023 Sunset Blvd. Poole has an extensive background in banking and will be responsible for all aspects of branch operation, including all customer accounts.
